We’re proud to present Music At The Gate €1,000 on winning our Local Hero Campaign. This is a free family-friendly event that promotes traditional Irish music in Drogheda.
Darragh Ó hÉiligh, the organiser of Music at the Gate, told us, “My aim is to promote events in Drogheda for and by the local community that encourage and welcome participation by musicians, singers and dancers of all ages and levels. To the three-year-old who wants to sing in front of an appreciative audience to the seasoned professionals that are just back from a world tour. All are equally appreciated and respected. The events are also free and family-friendly to ensure access and inclusion for everyone.”
